Dear 4th Year,
Below are the two documents I promised to help you either with your essay or your mind map. Remember you are to produce either the essay on human nature/tyranny in the novel or draw out a detailed mind map on the subject. For the mind map, every quotation must also have a piece of analysis attached to it explaining its significance in terms of what it tells us about Golding's view of human nature/tyranny. "This suggests..." is always a good way of beginning a piece of analysis.

If your computer doesn't do PowerPoints or Word documents, there are PDF versions of each one here (PowerPoint) and here (quotations document). These will open directly in your browser, without any need for Microsoft software, although the format on the quotations document is a little all over the place in PDF format.
